You're starting point in getting to Astypalea is going to be Athens.

You will have the option to fly (which we strongly encourage) or take a ferry. Details below!

Flying is the easiest way to get to the island! It is between a 30-50 min flight.

Sky Express is the only airline that flies to Astypalea. You will have to book directly from Athens International Airport.

There are between 1-2 flights per day that hold 48 people.

While this is the least expensive option, Blue Star Ferries take between ~9-11 hours total.

There are cabins available if you book far enough in advance. The cabins include beds as well as a fully equipped bathroom.

Please note that booking begins 3 months in advance.

There are tons of affordable Airbnbs available in Astypalea!

We suggest booking near the Main Town (Chora) for easy access to restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and wedding events!
