They met the modern
way - electronically.
After some vetting and bonding over their favorite Greek restaurant in Boston, Adam planned a date to meet at Kava in the South End.
Over the many courses during dinner, they found that they had multiple shared interests and values - including their love for European travels and family.
Adam had a plan to visit Copenhagen in the Fall but after becoming inseparable during the summer of '21, Adam ended up flying to Anastasia in Greece instead... and met her entire Greek family!

Anastasia thought they were shooting a BTS video for her jewelry brand, lol.
During this past summer's trip to Greece, Adam and Anastasia kicked off their trip by visiting Astypalea. Adam already knew he wanted to propose the second day they were there. The night before the proposal, he suggested Anastasia wake up early to walk up to the old Venetian castle with their friend, Elliot. Anastasia thought they were shooting a BTS video for her jewelry brand, lol.
The entire family, Adam, and Elliot woke up before 7am in anticipation. Anastasia slept until 10am. While she "didn't feel like climbing all the way up to the castle" that morning, Adam convinced her that Elliot just wanted to see the golden crown that sits on top of Chora town, and Elliot convinced her that they could get some epic behind the scenes footage of the island she calls her home away from home.
While walking along the castle walls, Adam hid his nervousness incredibly well - Anastasia remained oblivious to the moments to come. When they finally reached the perfect spot, Adam asked Anastasia if he could have a hug and then whispered that he "needed to ask her a question". It was then that she knew that he was asking for her hand in marriage.
After many hugs, kisses, tears, and processing that incredible moment, they walked back to town where Anastasia's family was waiting for them with open arms. It was quite literally the best day ever.
